Free Flu Clinic Success!
Through a fantastic partnership with Walgreens, the Lawrenceville Co-Op
and the Neighborhood Co-Op, PCOM GA HEARTS was able to help 125
people get their free flu shot this year!
We hope to provide more community events in 2021.
Who are we?
PCOM Georgia HEARTS Clinic is a premier student-run clinic founded by the medical students at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine Georgia. Our mission is to help the low-income and uninsured members of the Suwanee, GA and surrounding community with their healthcare needs.
What do we do?
We help underserved members of our community get access to the care they need. The medical students at our clinic work together as a team along with the health professionals. In this way, students are able to acquire medical knowledge and clinical experience that they can apply to their future.
...I have seen people lost in the gaps of our healthcare systems. These experiences provided me with the motivation to help those patients in need, whenever possible."
